Work I know down to the details

ROTAS69 — a jewellery store across three markets

My own Shopify store: from the first order in October 2024 to trading in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia in four languages. Everything is built and maintained by my own hands — which is why I can answer for every line on this page in detail.

The task

Build a jewellery store that works across three Baltic markets at once: each in its own language, with correct SEO per language, with product feeds in Google Shopping and with honest advertising measurement. Without a development team and without a monthly fee for every extra feature.

What was done

  • Four full languages

Products, collections and emails — each language a full version of the store, not a copy. Shoppers see the store in their language, and Google shows each language in the right country.

  • Product feeds and Merchant Center

A custom feed generator: 6 feeds, 4 languages, category mapping, automatic refresh. On 6 August 2026 a Misrepresentation suspension was lifted on official appeal — the store returned to Google Shopping.

  • Server-side analytics

Shopify → server-side GTM → GA4, Google Ads and Meta CAPI with Consent Mode. Found and fixed duplicate purchase events in Meta advertising — before the fix, decisions were made on inflated numbers.

  • Own tools, no subscriptions

A wishlist with sharing, a live "trending now" block, a welcome pop-up and a self-service order portal for returns and exchanges — where others pay for apps every month.

  • Speed and technical SEO

Core Web Vitals audits with implementation; animation and third-party script bottlenecks found and removed. A GSC review: of 2,898 "broken" URLs, 58% turned out to be noise — weeks of work saved by checking rather than guessing.

  • A business dashboard of my own

A separate application: 12 sections and ~90 API routes — sales, advertising, search, speed and competitor pricing in one window. The data collects itself every morning.

The result

  • The store trades across three markets in four languages and is growing — confirmed by measurements in summer 2026.
  • In its second month of operation: 77 orders; the first order was on 11 October 2024.
  • The Merchant Center suspension was lifted and the store is visible in Google Shopping again.
  • Advertising decisions are made on verified numbers rather than on duplicated purchases.
